Meet Reverend Corey Nelson
Reverend Corey Nelson is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div.) in Wilmore, Kentucky and has been the pastor of Grace since 2013. Corey is married to Rickelle (’93) and they have a son Syrus. They share their home with Taggart the Border Collie, Woodrow the French Bulldog, Champ the Wonder Dog, and Jovie the Tail-less Cat. Corey loves Christmas, cookies, Christmas cookies, and the Oakland Raiders. Pastor Corey is also a movie star having starred in the movie “A Few Good Men” while he was in the Marines. As Pastor Corey says, “My two seconds of face time carried that movie!”
Pastor Corey’s hobbies include writing, video games, reading, fishing,watching the Raiders, and helping Rickelle and Pastor Jocelyn achieve sainthood.
Fun Fact…It has been said that Pastor Corey has the coolest office ever.
Meet Reverend Jocelyn Church
Reverend Jocelyn Church is a recent graduate of the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville and had been on the staff of Grace Kids since June 2017. In the Fall of 2017, Jocelyn began school at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Born and raised just outside of Louisville, she loves “The Ville” and deeply appreciates the weirdness of this city. Some of Jocelyn’s favorite pastimes include: going to the zoo, hanging out at Panera, playing with her dog, watching football, and giggling over videos of baby goats.
Pastor Jocelyn loves Disney movies, road trips, good coffee, shark documentaries, and of course, the Louisville Cardinals.
Fun Fact…Pastor Jocelyn is easily entertained. On several occasions, she has been known to play in cardboard boxes.

We feature a multifaceted, multi-talented board of directors. On our board we have leaders of non-profits, medical professionals, retired teachers, as well as children and youth pastors. Beyond our board, we feature access to a wide range of experts to help shepherd the unique needs of our ministry and our charges.
